The Dryopteris Dilatata, also known as the 'broad buckler fern', is a robust, semi-evergreen perennial boasting arching, toothed fronds in dark, leafy green.

This easy to grow fern is a great choice for cool, partially to fully shaded areas such as a shady courtyard or a woodland garden. Plant them in any moist soil in pots, beds or borders, or plant them beneath shrubs and trees where they can benefit from the much needed shade. If growing in a sunnier area, be sure to water regularly to prevent soil drying out.
