Garlic 8.5cm

An indispensable vegetable to have close at hand in virtually any kind of cooking, Garlic needs a long growing period so it's best to plant bulbs in autumn to early winter so they have plenty of time to mature. Surprisingly easy to grow in the UK considering Garlic is originally a Mediterranean crop, it simply needs a warmish spot in well-drained soil.

You can expect to harvest up to 17 bulbs per 3m line of planting and bulbs will be mature from May to September the year after planting.
