The hydrangea is a classic, beloved for its larger-than-life blooms. Although usually found outside, the hydrangea macrophylla pink also makes a fantastically beautiful indoor plant due to it's compact shape and big round flower clusters.

Did you know that the flowers on a hydrangea change colour depending on the acidity of the soil? You might expect such a spectacular plant to be complicated to care for, it’s super low-maintenance. Keep it well watered and fed throughout the growing season and position in a bright spot.

Please note that all our plants come in simple plastic pots unless otherwise stated in the product name. If you wish to pot yours up we do have a wide range of pots to choose from.

  • Pot size: 14cm
  • Indoor plants need plenty of light (but not intense, direct sunlight). Water your potted hydrangea houseplant frequently when the plant is blooming but be careful not to overwater. Decrease the amount of water after blooming but never allow the potting mix to become bone dry. If possible, water potted hydrangea houseplants with distilled water or rainwater. Hydrangea macrophylla does not need hard pruning to encourage blooms on new branches the following year.
