Ligustrum, more commonly known as privet, is a dense, fast growing shrub that is wonderful for hedging and screening with its dark green leaves.

They produce bee-friendly white flowers in summer, followed by black, poisonous berries. It is very tolerant of pollution, making it a great option for city gardens.
