Grape hyacinths (Muscari) are a wonderful, hardy spring flowering bulb producing beautiful spikes of flowers that are berry or grape like and give the plant its common name.

Atlantic is particularly attractive with pale blue blooms that are very eye-catching against the grass like foliage.

Providing early nectar for pollinating insects such as bees, moths and butterflies these high impact flowers also have ornamental seed heads extending their season of interest as far as June.

Great grown in pots as well as in borders and rock gardens, these charming flowers combine well with yellow spring pansies or daffodils to create a contrasting colourful display.
