    Growing your own potatoes is incredibly satisfying (you can eat the rewards!) and much easier than you think. The Pentland Dell Seed Potato is bred near to the Pentland Hills just outside Edinburgh.

    This variety is a heavy cropper with oval shaped tubers with white skin and creamy coloured flesh. It has a lovely floury texture when cooked.

    A tough and reliable variety it's perfect for boiling and mashing and has excellent disease and drought tolerance. Does anything compare to pulling fresh potatoes out of your very own soil - be it a patch of your garden or a potato bag?
