      • The Blue Spruce is best known for its beautiful colour; which varies from silvery-green to a stunning steel blue. Perfect on the doorstep to welcome guests when decorated with LED lights and baubles nestled between the branches.

        It is grown from hand raised seedlings transplanted into growing pots plunged in the open field. Each pot is dotted with tiny holes, which allow the finer tree roots to find nutrients from the surrounding soils, whilst keeping the main root system protected and intact within.

        It's this method of growing, with minimal impact on the root system, that can give trees an excellent chance of survival if transplanted into the garden after the festivities. 

      • Do not place your tree close to a heat source, including a fireplace or heat vent. The heat will dry out the tree, causing it to be more easily ignited by heat, flame or sparks. Keep the tree stand filled with water at all times.
      • If kept cool and well watered during the festive period it stands a good chance of transplanting well into the garden to grow on.
