Standard delivery - £5.95 or free over £50
Orders placed after 1pm will usually be dispatched the following working day. Therefore, orders placed on a Friday afternoon will be dispatched on Monday. Once dispatched, orders should be received within 4 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Depending on the parcel carrier we use, you will receive either - an email or text the evening before the first delivery is attempted, and again on the day of delivery with an anticipated time slot - or an email on the day of delivery to confirm you will get a delivery that day.
Large item delivery - £20
Larger items have different delivery service due to the extra space, weight, and handling required.
Delivery within 5 working days to your front door.
Once your order is with the carrier, you’ll receive a text message and email confirmation.
The day before delivery, the carrier will send you a text with a 2-hour delivery time slot for the following day and you can contact the carrier directly to move the date if required.
If delivery is not possible on the scheduled day, the customer is responsible for contacting the carrier to rebook.
XL item delivery - £40
Our XL two-person home delivery service is designed to handle larger items with care, delivered by specially trained white glove delivery teams.
Delivered to your room of choice.
Carrier contact within 4 hours of your order being placed.
Choose your preferred delivery date, with delivery available within 10 days of order placement.
Receive a 2-hour delivery time slot the day before delivery.
Direct contact from the delivery drivers on the day of delivery.
Please note:
We aim to deliver to UK mainland addresses from Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm unless otherwise stated. XL items will be delivered from Monday to Saturday.
Orders for delivery to Northern Ireland, offshore islands, Grampian and parts of the Highlands can take a few days more. Please contact us for further details.
Some of our approved suppliers are also unable to deliver to certain postcodes. If one or more of the products in your basket are restricted, you will be advised at the checkout.
Delivery charges will not be refunded for returned orders.
We do not offer a delivery service to addresses outside the UK.
Click & Collect - Free
Click & Collect is available to all Dobbies stores - just select your nearest store when you place your order. It is free to place Click & Collect orders, and you will receive an email when your order is ready to collect (usually within 24 hours).
Approved supplier direct delivery
In order to offer you an extended range, including specialist items, Dobbies arrange for certain products to be delivered direct by our approved suppliers. Delivery in these cases will be managed directly by them. The arrangements vary from supplier to supplier and item to item, so please check the specific delivery information and any associated costs on the relevant product page. It will be clear in the basket whether a product will be delivered by one of our suppliers.
