We’re going to make a beautiful New Year’s Resolution Tree to help you keep track of your 2023 resolutions. This is also a wonderful way to help you complete each of your resolutions. If you’re able to see them each day, you’re more likely to stick to them! Let’s get started…
For this activity, you’ll need::
- Branches (gathered in the garden or on a woodland walk)
- Yellow A4 paper (or any colour of your choosing)
- Pen/pencil
- Scissors
- String
- Vase
- Glitter (optional
Now it’s time to get crafty!
- Before you begin, you’ll need to collect the branches for your tree. To do this, you can venture out into your garden or goon a winter woodland walk. Remember to only gather fallen branches already on the ground
- Place your branches into a large vase or jug and arrange them in any way you’d like
- Now, cut some leaf shapes out of your paper and write one garden resolution on each leaf. You can add some glitter too if you like!
- Make a small hole in the top of the leaf and thread through some string
- Tie your leaves onto your New Year’s Resolution Tree, and you’re done!
We’d love to see your garden resolutions on your New Year’s Resolution Tree! Take a picture, tag us and share it by using #DobbiesLittleSeedlings
