Shallot Menhir Pack of 7

Try your hand at growing your own crop of the Shallot Menhir. The smaller, sweeter sibling of the onion, shallots are delicious and versatile, making a great addition to a multitude of dishes.

Menhir produces a good crop of attractive, copper-skinned bulbs with a mild and sweet taste. Their flavour is particularly well-suited to French cuisine, so you can experiment in the kitchen with new recipes! Plant these shallots in the spring for harvest in August. They'll keep for several months afterwards, too, so you can have delicious, home-grown shallots throughout the autumn and winter.
