Anemones are charming plants that include both early-flowering bulbs and late-flowering perennials. All have open, usually cup-shaped flowers, sometimes double or daisy-like with many petals.

Depending on the type, they can be grown in borders, around trees and shrubs, or in containers.

Anemone Harmony Orchid offers delicate finely dissected leaves that appear in early spring, followed by light purple saucer shaped flowers with a black central disc. It flowers throughout spring and summer.

Anemone thrive in full light or semi-shade in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Propagate by division in spring, by seed sown in late summer, when fresh, or by root cuttings in winter. Contact with the sap may irritate skin.
