Helleborus HGC Ice N Roses Red 2ltr

Helleborus are popular favourites for providing winter interest, with their elegant, nodding blooms and handsome evergreen leaves. The Helleborus Red, a part of the 'Ice N' Roses' series, sports large, saucer-shaped blooms in deep wine red, with contrasting golden yellow stamens.

It comes into bloom in winter and lasts well into the spring, providing you with a colourful display when little else is in flower. It will thrive best in shadier spots, so underplant it with shrubs, hedges or trees, or place in a shady border to get the best out of it.

Plant Hellebore from autumn to spring in a moist, well-drained soil. Choose a location in partial or dappled shade.

In around November time, cut off old leaves and stems right to the base to prevent leaf spot. Mulch and feed in autumn.
