Lobelias are known for their profusions of flowers, often spilling over the sides of pots, window boxes and hanging baskets in the summer.

The Starship Scarlet Lobelias is no different with its reddish stems packed with bright flowers, exploding upwards from a pack of glossy leaves.

Make sure you wear gloves when handling because their milky sap can irritate your skin.
