The epitome of early spring and Easter the Primrose Buttercream can be treasured in every garden. Perfect for pots, beds or borders it naturalises easily in humus-rich, moist soil creating swathes of loveliness.

Rosettes of dark green textured leaves emerge in winter, protecting a centre packed tightly with buds ready to spring forth and bloom into these creamy beauties in early spring.

Please note that all our plants come in simple plastic pots unless otherwise stated in the product name. If you wish to pot yours up we do have a wide range of pots to choose from.

Primroses prefer moisture-retentive soil in partial shade. If you're worried about them drying out, incorporate plenty of humus into the soil when planting.

You can deadhead them at the end of the season or leave them to self seed - which they do readily - and spread. Break up larger clumps every few years to ensure each plant has optimum space to grow.
